We love what we see what's your process to book?
Once you've filled out the contact form and if your date is open I'll be in touch with a link to my calendar so we can find some time for a video chat. If all is copacetic and the vibe is right then you'll get your customized contract to lock in your date.
Once we book when will we hear from you again?
I'll be in touch throughout the months leading up to your wedding. Namely to schedule your engagement session, site visit and send over my client questionnaire. But I LOVE to talk all things wedding so you can contact me as often as you want! Send me pics of dresses or table designs, I'm here for all of it!
How do I see my images?
Every session I do comes with access to your private online gallery. You have download access to your digital files and the print release. I offer prints and albums for purchase through your online gallery but it is not required for you to purchase product through Dear Edith and Lily.
I read something about a site visit and client questionnaire , what's that all about?
This is how I prepare for your day. Making sure that I'm well informed to all the details of your day so that come wedding day you get to just do your wedding thing and not worry about getting the photos you want. The site visit happens a month or so prior to your date, we walk tour the venue and talk about flow of the day and the things you love about the venue. The questionnaire is how I collect all the important info, I provide family grouping guidance and put together a photo timeline of the day. (I'm a free spirit who craves organization and preparedness!)
Do you work with a second photographer?
I will make suggestions on whether we need a second photographer or not based on guest count and venue layout. (Typically guest counts above 150 I suggest we add on a second photographer.)
How do you light things if the venue is dark?
I work with off camera flashes (managed by my assistant who's with me at every wedding). These off camera flashes allow me to create images that are always well lit and beautiful. This lighting is there to enhance the photo still creating natural looking and feeling imagery.
Do you offer elopement packages?
Yes I do! If you are getting married with less than 10 people in attendance I have smaller packages available. Elopements do have limited availability and are typically not offered on the weekend.
Do you offer winter discounts?
I don't offer winter discounts and I'll tell you why. No matter what month of the year, or if there's snow or no snow, photographing your wedding requires the same amount of work and planning from me every time. In fact winter's can be a little trickier on account of snow and travel and require more work and planning on our end.
